Sara was a little girl who loved going outside and playing with her friends. Her dog named Mima was always with her. They played, walked, and even slept together. They shared space, free time, and boundless love.
Sara never got angry with Mima, even when she was a mischievous puppy. She would always gently scold her and show her what she could and couldn't do. Mima was smart and learned quickly, and Sara was extremely proud of her.
Everything was fine until one day when Sara woke up with a high fever, chills, and a headache. She didn't have the strength to get out of bed, but she didn't want her mom to find out because she couldn't wait to go outside and ride her new bike. She made a plan to deceive her mom and pretend she was healthy.
Mima tried to keep the girl in bed as long as possible, but when she saw that Sara had gotten up anyway, she ran and called Sara's mom. With her behavior, she signaled that something was wrong with the girl, so Sara's mom quickly realized that her daughter was sick.
As Sara suspected, her mom didn't allow her to get up or go outside.
This was the first time Sara was angry with Mima because she felt like she had betrayed her. She was so angry and hurt that she kicked Mima out of her room. She didn't want her to be around when she didn't know how to keep secrets.
After a while, Sara took advantage of the opportunity while her mom was at work and snuck outside. She immediately got on her bike and started riding it happily, thinking her mom wouldn't hear her. After a few minutes, she fell but didn't have the strength to call for help.
Nothing could be hidden from Mima. She heard when Sara left but didn't follow her because she felt her anger. She climbed onto the bed and watched the girl ride her bike through the window. When she saw that Sara had fallen, she ran for the second time that day to get her mom and call her to the yard.
The mother took Sara in her arms and brought her inside the house, and Mima followed, but she didn't get too close. She didn't want to approach or anger Sara until she was called.
This time, Sara wasn't angry with Mima. She called her and apologized. She was grateful to her for calling for help and even more grateful that her dog had taught her never to lie.
They continued to live happily, sharing their honest friendship.
