A STORY FOR CHILDREN: A BIG LESSON IN RESPONSIBILITY

Five-year-old boy Filip and his dog Bleki have been inseparable since their first meeting. They loved each other so much that even the boy's parents were surprised at how connected they were. They regretted not getting their son the dog he had wanted earlier, but they were unsure if they could adequately care for a pet due to their responsibilities, and Filip was too young to take full responsibility for a dog.

Bleki was not just a dog, he became an equal member of the family and quickly won the hearts of all the household, especially Filip's. It's incredible how the two of them understood each other, and they always knew what the other wanted or needed. They didn't need words to call each other for playtime, walks, or bedtime. They had their secret signals that only they understood.

Filip has changed a lot since Bleki arrived. He became happier, more playful, and more social, but he didn't want to change one bad habit. He didn't pick up his toys. He still left them on the floor where he mostly played with them. During the day, Bleki also participated in their games, and he especially loved it when Filip threw him a small green ball, and he happily returned it. Bleki didn't mind jumping over scattered cars, trains, figurines, and blocks. The two of them had fun and managed to navigate through the chaos.

Everything was working fine until the day Filip went to a birthday party with his family and Bleki had to stay home alone. He was lonely and confused and didn't know what to do. He was used to being alone while Filip was at preschool, but he didn't understand why they left him alone this time.

Bleki's teeth were bothering him that day, and he was looking for something to chew on. Since he was alone, it wasn't fun for him to nibble on the ball. It was only his favorite toy in Filip's company. He found a block on the floor that relieved the pain in his mouth, so he started to chew it sweetly. At one point, he felt pain and scratching in his stomach, and there was no one around to help him. He unsuccessfully tried to get rid of the piece of plastic. The pain was getting stronger, so Bleki had to lie down. He didn't have the strength to move. He lay there and waited...

When Filip and his family returned, they found a strange scene. It wasn't clear what was happening. Bleki didn't happily run up to greet them. They called for him, but there was no answer. Silence. They looked at each other and quickly searched the apartment. They found Bleki in Filip's room next to the bed. He was lying down and couldn't move. He just looked at them sadly. They immediately realized that something was wrong. Filip was the first to notice the broken toy block and showed it to his parents, who understood what was happening. They quickly took the dog to the vet for a check-up. Filip cried and petted his dog non-stop. He prayed that his best friend would survive.

The vet examined the dog and realized that the piece of plastic didn't cause a bigger problem for Bleki, so he quickly removed it.

They returned home happy and satisfied. Bleki was still tired and sleepy, but he no longer had any pain. Filip immediately went to his room and picked up all the toys from the floor. He arranged them in a safe place that Bleki couldn't reach.

The parents smiled contentedly. The dog had taught their son something they hadn't been able to, no matter how many times they warned him. They realized that love is the cure for all problems and can change all bad habits.

Filip and Bleki continued to live and grow happy and content. Each of them learned what and when they could play with and Filip learned a great lesson about responsibility.
