STORIES FOR KIDS
Bruno the dog lived in a happy family and was the only pet. He received a lot of love from his family and was always the center of attention. Everything was nice until the owners decided to introduce another pet into the family, a cat named Luna.
Bruno was confused because he knew that cats were natural enemies of dogs, and he was also afraid that his family would not love him anymore. He did not know how to behave when a little kitten arrived in the house.
For the first few days, he just watched Luna and did not want to approach her. He selfishly guarded all his toys, bed, food, and even his water bowl, making sure that Luna did not come near. He did not want to share anything with her, not even the love of his owners. While the kitten was cuddling with the family, Bruno would either push his way in to be close to them or pretend to be asleep and quietly listen to how they talked to Luna. He suffered in silence and wondered why they needed another family member.
He firmly decided to treat Luna as an enemy because he felt bad since she arrived in the family, and he was taught from birth that dogs should not be friends with cats.
Luna was also cautious when Bruno was nearby, as she was taught from birth to run away from dogs and not to try to get close to them. She was a baby, so she was also afraid of Bruno's size.
Both the dog and the cat were confused and did not know how to continue living under the same roof. It seemed like friendship between them was impossible.
However, as the days went by, the pets became more relaxed. They started to observe and analyze each other, and it was not clear to them why they should be enemies. The cat was cute and affectionate, and the dog, although he looked like a giant, was like a big teddy bear and a true friend.
Both pets loved to run and play, and they both loved to chase after a little white ball. They didn't even notice when they started playing together. They enjoyed their joint games, and gradually began to share their toys. Even Bruno's bed became a shared space. The dog watched over and protected the cat, and she became more attached to him day by day.
Soon, they became inseparable friends and enjoyed their life together. Bruno no longer felt that Luna was a threat to his position in the family, but instead, he looked forward to every minute spent with her.
Bruno and Luna showed everyone that even the biggest enemies can become friends and live in harmony.
